Arlington Lodge Suites is Waterford’s most exciting Hotel Suite development, a winning combination of modern comforts in a spacious Georgian property with comfortable proportions and reserved classically influenced detailing.

Arlington Lodge Suites Comprises of 18 Bed Rooms in total from Suites to Lodges and Superior Bedrooms.

There is Nine Suites – Made up of large bedrooms with en suites bathroom, Sitting/ Dining room & Kitchen.  Suites can sleep from 2 to 8 people.

Four Superior bedrooms with en suite Bathroom. Containing two king size Beds.

All units have a Large Flat Screen TV, Complimentary toiletries, Tea & coffee and free WIFI.

THE ANNA MANAHAN SUITE

Waterford born stage, film and television actress, Anna Manahan won a Tony Award in 1999 for her portrayal of Mags Folan in Martin McDonagh’s “The Beauty Queen of Leenane”

 
 

FRENCH CHURCH SUITE

The French Church, Baileys New Street was built in 1240, some 14 years after the death of St. Francis of Assisi, founder of the Franciscan Order.It was possibly the first Friary to be built in Ireland. 

 

THE VIKING SUITE

Viking raiders first established a settlement in Waterford in 853AD.
Waterford, Ireland’s oldest City was founded by Vikings in the 9th century. 
The Vikings went on to both protect Waterford and to help the city prosper.
In 914, the Vikings built Reginalds Tower and during the 13th century it was used as a mint!!! 

THE BISHOPS SUITE 

 Dating from the early 18th century the house has long been intertwined in the history of Waterford and its people. In 1871, it became the seat of the Roman Catholic Bishops of Waterford and Lismore, and remained with the church until 1997.

THE REGINALD SUITE

Construction of Reginald's Tower commenced in 914 and today we are still enjoying the pleasures of Ireland’s oldest Civic building. The first tower on the site was built by Vikings and formed the apex of the triangular settlement, an area known to this day, as The Viking Triangle.

 

THE De BROMHEAD SUITE

Since Henry de Bromhead took over the reins at his father’s County Waterford yard in 1999, he has gradually built a reputation as a shrewd and able trainer. He was well and truly launched onto the international stage by the emergence of Sizing Europe and that horse became one of the most popular horses of his generation. 

 

THE DOROTHY JORDAN SUITE

(22/11/1761-5/7/1816)


One of 6 born into extreme poverty in Waterford. Jordan went on to become feted as one of the greatest comic actresses of her day, a courtesan and the long-term Royal mistress of King William IV. They openly lived together for 20 years and had 10 children. 
Former British Prime Minister, David Cameron is among her many descendants.

THE WILLIAM VINCENT WALLACE SUITE

(1812 - 1865)


Born in Waterford, William Vincent Wallace was a most extraordinary musician and personality whose life story is the stuff of movies. With the passage of time, he is now best remembered as the composer of the famous Opera “Maritana”.
